I am a design researcher in the Consumer Experience Design group at Motorola Mobility. I work with a talented group of designers and user researchers to help shape the experiences of Motorola’s mobile devices. I have been fortunate to expand and grow as a researcher through my experiences conducting user research on consumer facing products.
I received my PhD in Biomedical and Health Informatics, with a concentration in human computer interaction (2015) from the University of Washington. I was advised by Wanda Pratt. During my PhD, I did an intership at Microsoft Research with Kori Inkpen. After my PhD, I was a postdoctoral fellow at Indiana University where I worked with Katie Siek. I have an MS in Information and Computer Sciences (2011) and BS in Informatics (2009) from the University of California, Irvine, where I was advised by Gillian Hayes.
